Hi everyone. 

This is a photo of an amazing girl, she means the world to me and she knows it. She’s so strong, and she’s been through so much. 
Since she’s posted her story and she’s letting me do this, I’m going to share something she doesn’t realize.

She is absolutely stunning. Her eyes are powerful and bright, her smile (when she smiles, which is rare) lightens the entire room, her laugh melts all my fears, sadness, and anger away, she’s a quiet loving creature, and so many people love her. 

You can’t tell from this photo because she’s  being an adorable little kitten in the hat I bought her, but, she suffers from Anorexia Nervosa, Psychotic Depression, and Social Anxiety Disorder. She hates herself.

She’s currently in the hospital from a suicide attempt just a few hours ago. 

I don’t know if she’s going to make it, and I want nothing more than to be by her side right now. I’m only not there because only her family is allowed to see her.  
What people don’t know is that her step-father, at the age of ten, started sexually abusing her. He destroyed her childhood, and his punishment was a 6 month sexual abuse class, probation, and 60 hours of community service - which is bullshit. 
All she gets at school is bullying. Every day, her classmates tease her in the hallways, they call her ‘dead girl walking,’ ‘ugly,’ ‘disgusting,’ ‘attention whore,’ ‘fake,’ and so many other things. We’ve told multiple people, but no one seems to even care about her besides me and a few other people at our school. She’s been cutting since she was 10, and she’s turning 16 in December. 

She’s living in hell right now, her family has lost everything, she’s blaming herself for everything. None of this is her fault.

If you’ve ever seen this video ( Skyscraper - Demi Lovato ) Not only is this song amazing but the message the video sends is amazing too. Throughout the video the little heart is behind a glass shield, and by the end of the video the shield is broken, but the heart is still just fine. It’s meant to represent how no matter how broken down and hurt you are on the outside, your heart is still just fine<3
